Joe Manganiello spent Valentine's Day with Caitlin O'Connor after Sofía Vergara divorce

Joe Manganiello and Caitlin O'Connor celebrated Valentine's Day by making things Instagram official.

The "Magic Mike" star, 47, shared photos on Instagram Sunday with O'Connor after his split last year from Sofía Vergara.

In the "week in review" post, Manganiello wrote that he "celebrated Valentine's Day with Tool & Caitlin," adding a heart emoji. He also shared a photo taken with O'Connor, 34, at a Tool concert, as well as another photo showing her next to roses and a box of chocolates.

Manganiello and O'Connor made their red carpet debut in December at the Children of Armenia Fund Gala in New York. They later attended an Art of Elysium gala in Los Angeles together in January.

Manganiello was previously married to Vergara from 2015 until their split in 2023. The former couple separated in July, according to court documents obtained by USA TODAY.

"We have made the difficult decision to divorce," the couple said in a statement to Page Six at the time. "As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect of our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives."

In January, Vergara revealed in an interview with El País that a disagreement over having children led to the divorce. The "Modern Family" star was previously married to Joe Gonzalez from 1991 to 1993, and they share a 32-year-old son, Manolo Vergara.

"My marriage broke up because my husband was younger; he wanted to have kids and I didn’t want to be an old mom," Vergara shared. "I feel it’s not fair to the baby. I respect whoever does it, but that's not for me anymore."

She went on to tell El País that she is "ready to be a grandmother, not a mother," meaning if "love comes along, he has to come with (his own) children."

She added, "I'm almost in menopause; it’s the natural way of things. When my son becomes a dad, let him bring the baby to me for a while and then I’ll give it back to him and go on with my life; that's what I have to do."
